Can someone please help me with these sentences? I'm having trouble dangling them.

-After leaving the midtown meeting, Angela's car would not start.

-Walking up the driveway, the Hummer parked in the garage was immediately spotted by the detectives. (this what I have for the sentence: Walking up the driveway, the detectives immediately spotted the Hummer parked in the garage.)

Please tell me if I'm right.
