Blake A Asked: I can’t pay for college?

I'm a student with nearly a 4.0 (450 kids in my class btw), bunches of AP and honors classes, four varsity sports and captain on a couple of them, and I love being the trumpet section leader at my school's band. However, I'm a bit depressed, because despite all of this hard work, I can't afford college at all, and I want to become a doctor.

1.) My parents have $0 for my college education.
2.) My family has terrible, terrible credit. My mom could never pay back a Parent Plus loan. I highly doubt I'll get a private loan. I have no cosigner.
3.) I've applied to many schools, and the cheapest one (with the exception of a local CC) will leave me with $19,000 in student loans per year. I got an amazing scholarship to a very expensive private school, but that brings the cost back down to a public university.
4) Commuting isn't an option. No place to park a third car, and road expenses would be nearly the same as room and board.

Besides going to a CC, what are my options? CC credit is a joke and medical schools don't like that. I'd do ANYTHING before going to a CC. I dread taking out private loans. I'm so hungry to learn, and I'm scared to think that I'll have to set back something as important as college for possibly many years.

*Before you begin a response with the traditional "Fill out the FAFSA", all of my FAFSA options have been exhausted. I didn't get a pell grant either. My house has five people in it with a gross income of $60,000. However, my dad is a truck driver and a HUGE sum of his salary goes to road expenses. We live on about $40,000.

Aviation EverythingAE Asked: Getting out of apartment lease because of bee infestation?

I live in an apartment complex and today I was moving groceries from the car to the apartment. Once I got in I heard a weird buzzing and found out that it was 3 bees. I'm severely allergic to bees and to top it off I am pregnant. I'm wondering if the landlords don't remove the hive or exterminate them will I be able to get out of my lease? I am a California resident and I know that there are special circumstances that allow me to get out of a lease. Even though there isn't a bee infestation in my apartment, I do walk in that direction to get to my car and I'm scared that one day I'm going to get stung. Thanks for the responses.

I have this step father and he is SO mean, all he cares about about is HIS son, not me or my brother (I'm 12 and my brother is 15)…my mum has had ago at him and he just gives as a 1 second hug then walks away, in the shops with HIS son he will get him a toy or a lolly or something, but when i go to the shops he will get me NOTHING, he has always been like this and at one stage I rang mum up at work to say that I really don't like him, (she does not believe me) he must've heard because when i was on the phone to mum telling her he came and said in a baby voice 'oh, are you winging to your mummy' and i said just go away please, so he came in hit me on the arm so i would let go of the phone, he then took it off me and started talking to her but when he got the phone off me he said to her that im telling lies AND SHE BELIEVED HIM!!!! i was soo angry i did not talk to him for like the rest of the year, mum got annoyed by that, and she always says like why are you ignoring Adam and blah blah, so i say i dont like him (she does not believe me) its even got worse when they got married. A really annoying thing is that on our way some where (i think we were picking mum up from a friends) we got to stop and have a rest (drinks and food) I got out of the car and i found a pole out side (it was wood but had a metal tip) and i started playing with Levi (adams son) came along and snatched it off me so i tried to pull on it ( i finally got it) but when i did Levi was holding the metal end so when i grabbed it off him the metal grazed his hand (no blood or anything…you would not even need a band-aid) so adam heard him crying and snatched the stick off me…hit me on the hand(he sprained it) and gave it to leviI WAS SO PISSED OFF AT HIM! (this was the day before their wedding) where he hit me it looked like i was stung by a massive mosquito (it covered my hand) but when he took the stick off me he yelled 'look at what you did to levi!' soi yelled 'look at what you did to me!' and he replied with i dont care. i dont not say a word for the rest of the car trip but in the car they (my brother, levi and adam) were saying that im a baby and blah blah. when we got to mum i told her the whole story (she did not believe me!) and adam said he did not do anything to me! and still to this day they are married! >:(
